Why this project
This is a glimpse into the life of Gionvanni Bugatti, The Execturioner of Rome. In here I want to delve into the arguments for and against the death penalty through the lens of the man with 516 executions to his name.
Additional notes
In researching this project, I was intouch with archives in Rome to digitise the ledger of executions. I have turned this information into a spreadsheet for the interest of any other researcher. I have a deeper version available upon research request.
